2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible at the Chicago Auto Show

The 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan is really just a handsomely refreshed 2010 Sebring sedan with new front and rear fascias, an improved interior and revised suspension – and Chrysler hasn’t avoided that fact. The outgoing Chrysler Sebring offered a sedan and convertible so it came as no surprise when Chrysler announced that there would be a topless Chrysler 200 and now we know that it will make its world debut when the 2011 Chicago Auto Show opens to the media.

The 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible is offered with the available new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine which provides an exhilarating driving experience that offers customers the best of both worlds – outstanding V-6 horsepower and exceptional fuel economy. The Chrysler 200 Convertible is also available with the proven 2.4-liter I4 World Gas Engine.

Like the Chrysler 200 Sedan, the 200 Convertible shares styling with the previous Sebring Convertible between the wheels but in the front and back, the new droptop Chrysler sports the stylish new look of the 200 sedan. The 2011 200 Convertible does offer the painted retractable hardtop roof like we saw in the Sebring, but as the fad of the heavy retractable hardtop fades, the new 200 Convertible comes with a traditional cloth soft top.
